Lightbulb Pcm

I have a 1995 Camaro Z28 but the PCM is missing ,the new GM part # is 88961150 but everybody keeps refering to a service number seeing as I don't have the pcm how do I get the service number? Any help would be appreciated.

I cant remember the entire number but the last 4 digits are 8051... hopefully that will get you what you need but someone else might have a spare sitting close with the full number on it. On a side note if you are trying to purchase a brand new PCM with cash out of your pocket then you are wasting your money. Contact madwolf or visit his webpage at www.madz28.com because he has many spare PCMs around for sale and you will save tons of cash that way.

I think he's a little backed up on replying to his email right now.

Got this info off his website though.
OBDI PCM, Service number 16188051 pre-programmed with the latest calibration from GM for your car or your own file


He's on this board too I'm sure he'll get back to you as soon as he can! If you are in a real big hurry his # is on his website click on the General Information tab at the top of the page.

i looked up the gm# 88961150, and 16188051 as well. they both come up as emissions control system. whats the difference in the two?
