Re: open loop
I was able to completely clean up the idle by going open loop. When the Wideband showed 14.7 at idle in closed loop it was actually pig rich. I even tried the power enrichment trick without good results. Now my Wideband reads 17:1 at Idle.
I go 14.7 off Idle up to 3500 rpm and then 13:1 to 6700 rpm.
My MPG is much better in open loop, especially idling in heavy stop and go traffic.
I get around 12 MPG in the city (no stop & go) and around 17 MPG in the highway.
I did it mainly for driveability reasons. The 847 does not behave well in closed loop from 900 to 2300 rpm no matter what I tried.
It is very smooth and streetable now.
