ODD DTC Errors

We're talking about a 94 Formula, 6 Speed, fairly stock. Just headers, CAI, that's about it.

It's throwing (via Datamaster) DTC 11 MIL Fault, and DTC 84 3-2 Shift Control Circuit fault. Odd, because the DTC 84 is for an auto car, and the DTC 11 I can't find anything on (but obviously there's an issue with the SES light).

Would a burned out bulb cause the DTC11 possibly, and what in the world could be causing the DTC 84 in an six speed car.

Well, just found that according to shoebox's website, that DTC 84 is also for the skip shift circuit, which should be there because of the skip shift eleminator, correct??

Re: ODD DTC Errors

If the skipshift is unplugged, you will get that error

Re: ODD DTC Errors

Well, it's got a skip shift eleminator installed on it, but we're not sure if that's what's causing it or not.

Figured out the DTC11 though. Decided to swap in an extra cluster I had laying around (killed two birds with one stone, I have never verified that it was a good cluster, which is was). Installed the cluster and unplugged the MAF so as to intentionally get a SES light. LIght came on, no DTC11 present. As it turns out....

His old cluster was missing the SES light and ABS INOP lights. Someone was VERY shady when they traded the vehicle in or the selling dealer was very shady.
