Question OBDI basic tuning-setup Qs

So I have some questions before getting neck-deep in the sh*t that is custom DIY tuning...

1) I've got a 95 PCM ready to slip into my 96 - just to weigh my options, what resistor do I put where to make the OBDII knock sensor work correctly (instead of replacing the sensor itself).

2) Swap my LT4 KM into the 95 PCM or leave it stock?

3) How many times can the PCM be flashed before it becomes unstable? I'm quite familiar with electronics and specifically computer hardware, but I'm not sure what level of quality GM chose for this application. The reason I ask is because I may want to run 2 different programs (N/A and N2O) to maximize performance/engine longevity.

4) Tuning-specific question - IAC Target RPM vs. Coolant Temp (Park/Neu) (A.K.A. idle speed out of gear, for LT1_Edit folks - Idle Speed vs. Temp Deg. F)...does this affect the M6 cars at all?

thanks

#3 If it's like any other flashable prom, it should be able to be flashed about 500,000 times or so. (Give or take a few)

Thanks CanadianZ for the tip. Now I wont worry about running different programs safely.

Also, strike #1 from the list. I'm just gonna get a 95 knock sensor tomorrow from the dealership (or at least order it).

Any others?
