Post OBD1 conversion now I'm having high stall problem?

I have a 97 T/A which I did an OBD1 conversion on to use LT1 edit to reprogram for my 30lb SVO injectors and for blower tuning. Here are my 2 questions when I took my car to the track last week the car hooked pretty hard then broke em loose and bounced off of the rev limiter and wouldn't shift into 2nd I read the other post and this seems to be my problem? If I change my PCM back to the OBD2 and change the knock sensor back should this problem go away? Here is my other question if I put the OBD2 pcm back in the car will the stock programming for the injectors be enough to support my 30lb SVO's or am I gonna have to put the stock injectors back in the car?

Thanks for your advice in advance

Yes your problem should go away and you will need to put you stock injectors back in if you dont have editing software for OBD2.

in gm high tech, there was a reference to obd I cars not wanting to shift right with too high of a stall. i know that some gm pcms measure engine speed and compare it to the transmission's input shaft speed. maybe with a high stall converter, the computer sees such a great difference between th two that it thinks something is wrong and prevents it from shifting, but once you bang the rev limiter, engine speed drops close enough to that of the input shaft, allowing the computer to shift the car. this is my guess, and that only applies if you have a stall converter. i think that svo injectors are high impedance, so you should be okay, but call ford just to be sure. as far as the tune goes, i would keep those injectors, and use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to get it on point. that all depends on the size of you engine, your boost level and how much power that combination can make.

If I ever get home I'll send you a PCM bin file that should fix your problem. I should be home by tomorrow night. All I ask is you post whether or not it fixes the problem.
