You can find used AutoXray OBD-I scanners on eBay. You can go with the ScanMaster LT1. Actron and AutoXray make mid-level scanners that will read both OBD-I and OBD-II (sometimes requiring optional accessories). You can spend anything from less than $100 for the used AutoXray, to several hundred for the new Actron and AutoXray models.
Then there's software that you can download (often for free) and run on your laptop, with the correct cable ($50-100). Look at TTS DataMaster, FreeScan, EVILive V4. Do not look at Diacom. Cable is available from AKM Computing

Finally got a good scan, code 29 which is the air pump. Fuse was blown, probably will pull the pump this weekend and see whats wrong with it. Thanks again to all for your help!
