New PCM

I have a 97, and have the obdII to obdI conversion, and I burnt my cpu last week. I was going to have it socketed, but a friend just gave me his old pcm because he has a wrecked car and told me he dosnt need it. It is from a 95, as was my OBDI conversion PCM. Is there anything that needs to be done to his pcm to make it work with my car or will it plug right in and work just as well as mine. (Besides putting my tune in)

As long as you already switched to an OBDI knock sensor and the PCM was out of a 6 speed you don't have to do anything else.

PS. I buy dead PCMs if you're interested in selling the other one.
