Unhappy Need help with laptop please. Missing file Msvcp60.dll???

As you will see, I don't know much about computers

I was trying to run VEmaster for the first time and got the message: "A required .DLL file, MSVCP60.DLL, was not found."

I tried to run it on my computer in the house and it worked fine. So I searched for the file, found it, and copied it to a disk. I thought I then could transfer it to the laptop but the laptop doesn't even see it on the disk. I put the disk back into the other computer to see if it didn't copy but it did and it is on the disk.

I was trying something but obviously didn't have a clue. Please help!

I got it

My laptop apparently did not have that file. The reason it wasn't seeing it on the disk was because the computer was not showing system files. I changed it to show them and there it was. I then found where my home computer stored that file and put in the same place on my laptop. What do you know, it worked. Is it alright like that?

I have already used vemaster and noticed a change off idle. At idle, my blms are still 108. I have just programmed the pcm with another changed .bin but haven't run it yet. We'll see what it does then.

Thanks.

Unfortunately for VE master to work best you are supposed to already have the BLMs fairly close, I forget what the recommendation is. Not sure how well it will work, I never gave it much chance, but after 3 tries it seemed to make zero difference, even though it was changing VE table data. Some still argue that it doesn't work at all, but if its working for some people, how could it "not work" at all.

The argument is that MAF cars "dont use VE tables..."

Well, it hasn't worked for my idle. It is still 108 on both sides at idle and about 111 at cruise. What is the best way to raise blms?
