Need help with getting my pcm programmed

im new to the whole getting the pcm reprogrammed idea and need help gettin the ball rolling being as i dont know what all is involved as in do i need to remove the pcm box it up and send it to be reprogrammed? I have a 94 obd1 camaro that has recently had a blown engine (lt1) and was replaced with a lt1 from an impala. i have heard many people say the cams are different and are tuned a little differently for different powerbands. I want to use the larger MAF and make the shifts a little quicker (5000-5300rpms)at WOT since thats when it feels like its past the power band. any help is appriciated

Re: Need help with getting my pcm programmed

I went through pcmforless. I paid for the additional core exchange. All you do is unplug/unbolt the pcm and send it in. You also fill out a questionare. Simple
