Need Eprom

Has anyone been able to find the Eproms that are in the OBD1 computers? Mine was socketed by Tunercat but I would like to purchase a spare in case I have a prom problem again. Does anyone have the part #?

Thanks for any help.

Well, you already emailed me, and I gave it to you thru email, but the part # for everyone to see is AN28F512 for the flash chip. I'm curious if anyone else has been looking for a supply of these chips as well, because I haven't been able to find them either. If anyone has any info, please post it!

Wouldn't surprise me, but you would think there would still be a supply of them somewhere. I'm sure a lot more were made than just those that went into our PCMs.

Tuner Cat sent me this is an Email when I asked about one.
"The original chips used were an Intel AN28F512 but these have been obsolete for awhile and will be difficult but you might find someone that still has some stock of them."

I have a supply of genuine new Intel AN28F512 chips. Price is $35 per pair shipped to your door. These can be flashed with a starter BIN or nothing at all. For an additional $6 I can also include a pair of sockets for those wishing to socket their own PCM's

Contact me offlist if interested.
