may I ask why a DOS program?

and not a windows program.

 

Well I can't get the windows one from tunercat to work with my car. That is why I was hoping I could get a dos one that might work so I don't have to drag the desktop out in the garage to program the car.

what is tuner cats doing that it doesn't work with yours?

Are you getting an error, I've used and loaded and taught tunercats to a few people, this is why I ask, I've use an old dos based and it sucked, lots of issues.

let me know what your OS is (win98,XP or whatever) and what you are using as the cpu(speed, memory).

also what kind of cable you have(homebuilt, AK, other)

It doesn't find the PCM. It is the laptop I think. I can get free scan to work, but datamaster won't work can't find the PCM either. I used this laptop on my 93 and datamaster work fine. The laptop has win98, 100mhz, 40mb ram. The cable is one that is sold on ebay.

I had a problem like that, it was in the com port setup.

once I relected the right one, it worked.


Also here, it's the tunercats, dos based flash prog.

you must run from DOS, and not a dos window in widows.
read the pdf.

Thank you for the file. I have adjusted every thing on the com port setting, the laptop works fine with the 93 I had, just doesn't like the 94.
