More knock after LT4 KM?

I had tuned the car a bit with the cam but was getting a wee bit of knock on the upper end on WOT so I switched tp a LT4 module before going further with the tuning, but ve got crazy knock EVERYWHERE!!! What the???? Put the stock module back in and the knock went away. I've tuned it a bit more and I only get knock now when it's real hot (no 160 stat yet) and I'm at WOT. What gives? Anyone else had this issue? Now that I tuned it right, would putting the LT4 module in help any better?

I have heard that some OBDI cars have problems with the LT4 module.

Sounds like you didn't get it installed correctly, and the PCM lost the knock sensor signal, and defaulted to the calculated knock values.

yeah it's wierd man, i had the same thing happen. I put in a LT4 km, and had a bunch more knock. So i took it out and sold it. The funny thing is, i went ahead and bought another one, but this time from a local dealer instead of on the net, and i swear i installed in the same way, but it didn't screw up on me the second time around.
