LT1Edit won't work for me
LT1Edit won't work for me
I posted this in lt1 tech but i figured i might get a response in here. Well we did a baseline dyno run and it was lean. So they tuned it and we went again and the a/f didn't change so we did it again and again and it didn't change at all. I mean he took all the emissions stuff off and dumped a lot of fuel into it and no change what so ever. Now i know it connected because the fans went on and off everytime it started and finished and it looked like it was working on the screen. I know it's not the guy because he knows his stuff and is was highly recommended by a lot of people. He said that it might be because i had a HPP in there and then i put it back to stock and put a JET PCM in there but then i took that out to do the edit. So i'm going to bring it back to the dealer to have them "reflash" the PCM like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Would that work or do you guys have any advice?
I wonder why he didn't flash it back to stock himself? Its just a stock file.
You don't have a supercharger or anything but your running lean? That never happens, these cars are always rich. Maybe something is clogged (fuel filter, fuel pump going)? It should be fairly simple to track down the problem (check fuel pressure at rails to start).
Sometimes things are harder than normal, but not knowing how to flash back to stock is scary for somebody of supposedly his calibar.

That's what he said that it's my fuel pump or my fuel filter. I changed the filter about 150 miles before i brought it there. They said that i hafta bring it to a dealer to bring it back to stock because the HPP or the JET PCM left some stuff in there. I've talked to a couple of other people and they said they had the same problem. They put the stock program back in there before i left.
