in LT1Edit program, what folder to open??

I am just now starting to get into the edit. On the LT1Edit program I am suppose to open a folder, what folder? Do I have to have it plugged into a PCM before I can open it or something? Sorry, I'm alittle slow with computers

this is what the user guide says

"When starting the editor, go to the ?File? menu and select ?Open?. The editor assumes you have a *.LT1 file for your PCM. This file contains the Flash images from both PCM processors. PCMprog reads and writes the flash using this format"

So does that mean I have to plug into my PCM, have the computer read the PCM and create a folder for me to open?

It doesn't matter if the file is in a folder, desktop or just the root C: drive.... but yes, you do need to connect to your PCM and read the program first, before you can make any changes.
