LT1_Edit - and linux

Anyone have any luck running LT1_Edit on linux? If you have done this - what emulator are you using etc.

I will admit - I have never emulated a windows based program on Linux before. Currently my laptop is partitioned with both Redhat 9 and windows XP. I would like to nuke the windows XP partition if I can - but I need LT1_Edit....

Anyone ever try this and have any luck?

Thanks in advance!

I suppose you could run Windows 98 through an emulating software like VMWARE but I think it's too much hassle. Just leave the XP on, or install 98 in its place.

Last time I tried was a year or two ago... I was trying Freescan with Wine. At that time, the serial port interface wasn't working properly.

But, Wine has come a long way since then. Check out www.winehq.com for more info.

VMWare would probably work better since it's a complete CPU emulator.
