got the car running on the ls1 computer today... i repinned the lt1 harness into the connectors and addded the in the coil wires and made a custom wheel for the opti.

i was worried at first as it would barely stay running then i pulgged in the other coil harness and it runs like a champ now..

dont mind the smoke there was some antifreeze on the downpipes.

there is also a air tight cover that goes on that opti and..

I thought this too except I thought it'd be easier to fill in the holes with JB Weld - haha. You can tell how good my fab skills are.

 

well my inital post was a over simpilfication. i had to modify the optical portion of the sensor to output 12v instead of 5v. other than that it was pretty straight forward.
