LT1 MAF Readings -- What should I expect?

Hi guys,

I'm still having little pops in my exhaust pipe, which i assume is either a rich or lean mixture problem. I've replaced the plugs, wires, coil & opti during a recent tuneup to try and resolve the issue. However, it's still present.

I haven't changed the O2 sensors yet either -- but I read that the MAF can cause strange symptoms that I was having before the tuneup (missing, stumble on acceleration, poor idle, the popping, etc.)

What are the MAF readings that I should expect when I patch in with TunerPro or Datamaster? If i can determine the MAF is OK, then at least I can focus on other possible problems (like the O2 sensors...)

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

At idle, you can see anywhere from 6 - 10 grams/sec. At WOT, the max reading will depend on your modifications. Stock, at sea level you might see 240 - 250 grams/sec.

Thanks injuneer -- once I can find another copy of DataMaster with more trial runs i'll see what the readings look like.
