Re: LT-1 Edit

There used to be an LT1 Edit mailing list and before that, a chat type forum for LT1 Edit where everyone shared knowledge and their projects. It was a long process of learning how the PCM and PCM programs worked and at first we didn't have all the tables, either, so there were problems related to that. There were a lot of knowledgable guys on that list and years worth of posts all about tuning - maybe something would come up in a search. You used to be able to download all the archives - it was huge, though.

The mailing list was a requirement because carputing (those who sell it) provided no support to speak of. It died years ago. When I contacted carputing they told me the server had died and implied they were not going to do anything about it. And AFAIK, they never have. But they will still sell you the product (for an obscene amount of money), even though it has no support.

LT1 Edit mailing list...I learned a lot from those days. What to do and what not to do. It was still very informative.

We had a little group thing at one of the Memphis Event's one year.

Re: LT-1 Edit

I met Ken from carputing at Englishtown one year... maybe around 2001, and we had some interesting discussions on the development of the OBD-II version.

I still use LT1 edit (OBDII) for my LT1 tunes and swaps.
Have two cables and eight licenses.
I always chime in when I can answer.

It's back. Re-acquired it today. Just needed to get away from it for a while.
