which is best? if i get one of those do i still need the autotap i have? or will both of the above programmers also do what a-tap does?

 

HPTUNER stuff comes with a built in Scan tool. I have no idea as to how good their scan tool is but it does come with one. Plus their software is not locked to your PCM so that means you can tune as many cars as you want as long as its the same model year as yours. So you can charge your friends some cash and get your software paid for! You can't do that with LS1 boys and from what I hear it is just as good or better.
