Low/High Impedance Injectors

I've been looking at DFI sites and everything I see is about low/high impedance injector controls. Whats the main difference, is it gonna be something w/ reaction timing? And also what's stock on the LT1? Thanks, Rob

Injectors bigger than 50 lb/hr are low-impedance. The PCM will not run low impedance injectors.

True, unless you use the Acceleronics "low impedance converter". A great piece.

Low impedance converters draw more current, and the stock PCM injectors drivers can't handle that much heat.

Another thing, the LI 'peak and hold' injector has a faster open/close response time. This allows the use of larger injectors to be programed to a lower pulse ms rate. This is helpful to get a cleaner idle cuppled with the larger capacity injector.
