what are the acceptable ranges spark retard for the lt1? What reading should i see at wot? just trying to narrow down a prob

with 93 unleaded you really want to see 0 retard,but you will see some retard during your shift points.i think the stock programming allows up to 12 deg. of retard what prob are you having?

 

Its really not supposed to occur at all, ideally speaking of course. Its there when there happens to be an issue, with gas, or something else which might be giving you false knock.

Are you getting high knock counts, or genuine knock retard?
