How hard to use LT1 edit?

Well I just installed a CC306 w/ all the goodies and a PCM4less program. How hard is it to use and get use to tuning it? Also, when the car is cold (not at operating temp) the cam surge is a lot less than when at operating temp. Why is this?

Thanks
Chad

Depends how much you know about cars, and tuning them. Colder weather = richer, but timing can also cause surge at low RPM and this is the toughest area to tune, low RPM with big cams and street gas.

Well I know quite a bit but probably not nearly enough to tune one. A friend has edit and I could probably get a good deal on it. Thanks for the reply.
