Keyless entry

I got my new keyles entry, and followed the programing instructions. I have a 96 Z, so I pulled the radio fuse, turned the key 3 times, left it in run and held lock unlock for 15 seconds and nothing. i had one previous to it and when I dropped it, it never worked agian. I hvae tried 3 differant pads and they don't work. Is there some way to eset it or is there something I am missing?/ Thanks
Keaton

Re: Keyless entry

It could be the receiver. I wish there was a way to tell for sure without buying stuff you don't need.

Re: Keyless entry

It says 96-02 but the 4 button I had was for 96-97 so I'm exchanging it for that style instead now
