I've had a WOT Electronics serial to ALDL interface cable for a few years now and up until resently it worked fine.

When I run ALDL_TEST Version 2.0.0 created by TTS Power Systems, it passes 2 of the 3 phases.

It continues to fail the RTS portion of the test.
Here is the log:

Executing Extended Test procedure

Setting Baud to 8192:

Beginning Phase1 COM test:
-->Enabling DTR only power...
-->Sending Test Data...
>>DTR Power Phase1 Test Passed

Beginning Phase2 COM test:
-->Enabling RTS only power...
-->Sending Test Data...
>>Timeout error receiving data, Phase2 failed

Beginning Phase3 COM test:
-->Enabling RTS + DTS power...
-->Sending Test Data...
>>DTR Power Phase3 Test Passed

Fast Test complete, errors occurred

Anyone have any idea how I might be able to troubleshoot this issue?

 

For anyone that ever gets this thread in a search; the issue was with the Com Port not the cable.
