Interesting thing happened??!! Tunercat!

I pulled the chip from the computer on the 93 T/A that I've been having idle trouble with. It's the Amtel 29C256 reflashable chip. I load it into the EPromer5, read it, and save it. No problems. I go to open the file in Tunercat to take a look and I get this:

The selected ECM definition file is either not compatible with this source or the source file has been modified. The source file indicates that the $FF ECM Definition File should be used. Proceed anyway?.

This chip came out of a 93 Speed Density car, which the Definition file is $DA3. I can't even find the $FF Definition file on the Tunercat page.

Any clues???

The pocket programmer probably didn't pull the bin file out correctly. I've had that happen. Try it again.
Or if you bought the chip from someone it may have some sort of anti-tamper.

It's a PCM for less chip, and I tried it a couple of times. I believe that the chips been in there for something over a year now, and it wouldn't suprise me if it was just outdated.
