injector and tuning question?

If my computer is tuned for SVO 30lbs injectors and I switched to another brand of injectors, would the computer have to be retuned for the new injectors, or would they react the same?

thanks

Joe

Well, the big thing is the size (flow rate) but there is somewhat more to it than that. Suffice to say that if they have the same flow rate that it won't be far off and may be fine. Why switch injectors if you don't need more flow?

Re: injector and tuning question?

I am tracking down a miss problem. I have done a heads a cam swap with the injectors, which I bought used. Since the swap I have a missfire and a very rough idle. Since the plugs and wires were good before, I have reason to believe that it is the injectors. If I have to switch out the injectors, then I will probably get the least expensive set. So before I switched them out, I just wanted to make sure that I didn't need a retune.

Thanks
Joe

Re: injector and tuning question?

Do you have someone local who can test them? It costs $50 to flow test a set in my area.
