Question Injector Programing????

I am new to the tuning stuff and need some advice!
I have just installed 30# Injectors.....
With Tuner Cat, do I need to change all the tables or do I just need to change the constant? Does the computer set the tables after you set the constant?

I have not done any tuning like this myself but have been studying it for a while and reading about what people do. From what I understand you just have to change the injector constant. I think of it as functioning as part of an eqation. When you change it your tables may not actually change but since it is part of the equation the actual output you get from the tables will which will result in proper injector pusles. If this is incorrect someone correct me, but I am pretty sure that is how it works.

The computer won't change the injector offsets if you're reffering to them. You definetely need to update the constant though. (Set it to 31.6 since this is their equivalent flow rate on LT1s... they were originally rated at 39.2 PSI and LT1 runs on 43.5)
You can also try this table for 30# SVO calculated offsets, but you'll have to convert those values from Milliseconds (lt1_edit) to Microseconds (tunercat). Many tuners choose to not update the offsets.

I have yet to see a file where someone changed the offsets when using 30# SVO injectors.
Has anyone done it in their car?

I changed constants and it greatly improved starting, both cold and hot. My crank time is one second or less under any condition I've had so far.

I used Christian's 24# table and things worked fine, but there was always a little debate on what the actuality was. I dont think anyone was ever really able to produce a true 30# table, maybe now that is an easier thing to find. I think someone found a table for 36# or 42# from a Lightning and it wasn't the same.

Cool Injector Offsets

Thanks for all the help! This should help get me back on the Fast Track!

I am going to try changing the offsets along with the constant, Is there anything else that needs to be changed or updated?

Thats pretty much it, I've seen files where people didn't change the offsets at all. Kind of like some people who actually dont change the cubes in the program when they stroke, they just play with injector constant, kind of funny but like using the MAF to tune things, some people just do it differently.

Yes, but like I said, it is all a big equation so there are several ways to get to the end result. Some more, and some less complicated.
