Hello everyone, I have an lt 1 engine with a camshaft CC501 212/218 , Lift .488/.495 LSA 112
Help me set up the spark tables,I have adjusted the VE tables
What kind of spark is needed for idling when the tps is closed

 

The split between the intake and exhaust duration (218/218) looks odd.

Is it actually this cam (212/218)?

There’s nobody left here…. maybe a 1/2 dozen LT1 addicts, and one LS1 fan. Not sure if any of us do our own tuning.

 

Forgot….. one of your earlier posts indicated you had a 1994 Caprice. Is the engine you are tuning an iron head LT1?

was idle spark 20 tps 0 knock I lowered it to 14 and knock stopped , but the engine is shaking

Running rich on the wideband, you heard knock… but there is no knock retard at either setting.

I’ll see if I can get my tuner to look at this.

 

I can drop the logs and you can see the knock

 

In the charts in post #6 both show KR = 0. Or are you assuming the increasing knock counts are the result of audible knock?

What format are the logs? $EEHACK tends to be very cumbersome compared to Scan94/95.

I also noticed that there is a knock on the drive, but no knock on the parking.
