Idle spark advance?

Anybody know how to freeze the spark advance at idle so it doesnt fluctuate? I have noticed when the total advance is around 28*, the idle is much smoother and the car isnt shaken nearly as bad by the cam lope. When I observe the timing it will fluctuate from 26*-31* at idle after I let it set for maybe 10 sec. Before that, the timing is pretty much between 27-28* and smooth like I explained. So far Ive tried to set the main spark advance and closed TPS advance so they are equal and as you can see that method didnt work. Any ideas?

Re: Idle spark advance?

I've always just dealt with the fact that it's going to fluctuate a little. Not sure if you can keep it steady.
