IAC Park postion vs. Coolant temp(cats)
Im having trouble gettin my car to idle when in gear. The load on the engine lets it die. In park its fine and the iac counts are between 20-40. I have an Ed Wright tune, and while trying to figure this out I noticed my iac park position vs coolant temp table is all 0s. The idle is never consistent. Sometimes it idles fine then it will jump to 2k or so. Do you guys think this could be effecting my idle? Not quite sure what this table effects.

My guess on that table it that it is the position the IAC is left at when you shut the car off (vs. temp, of course). In that case, it would have no effect when running.
There is an IAC target for "Drive". Is it possible that this is having no effect because you have a TH400 and the PCM does not know when you when you are in gear?

Its a big cam and the IAC just cant catch it quick enough. If I play with the throttle as it goes in gear It will idle now. I still have some fine tuning to do. I was thinking the same thing on that table. I guess I can play with it and see. As it is now, I have to open the throttle a little to get it to start. That table may help fix that.
