IAC follower is too long

OK I trimmed my follower down a bit b/c I hated the car not wanting to idle down quick enough as I came to a stop. Been driving with no problems for a couple years now. A few months ago while working on it, it rolled off the ramps into the light pole at the end of the driveway while in nuetral. It shut off when it hit and I haven't driven it much since until I got it fixed. Well now it's fixed and it's taking way too long to go from abut 1k down to 650 where it belongs when I stop. I've done the reset procedure (slightly depress pedal, crank, let off, run for 5 seconds, switch off for 10 secs) a couple times and it hasn't fixed it, flashed the pcm as well.

Any idea what could have happened? Should I take the IAC off and manually 'reset' it to closed position and reinstall?
