hypertech programmer -> rev limiter & shift rpm

are there optimal settings for these ? I heard the a4 shifts too late? also should i raise or lower the rev limiter? i dont want to kill my engine

the a4 does shift a bit slow and appears worse because the rpm gauge is usually a little off (+200 or so). But its able to handle the stock settings even with its oe weak springs. If you had a supercharger or something I would say go a little lower, or with better valve springs I would say higher.
