Hypertech

There is a Hypertech programmer on ebay for $50. It's for a 97 Z28. Wouldn't it also fit my '96. The seller says no. The hypertech website says the part number for 96 and 97 is 30027. The seller says his part number is 375752. Hypertech doesnt show a part number 375752 on their website. Does anybody know if its the same as the 30027?

This site confirms the 375752 part number for a 1997 F-Body LT1, and shows 365752 for a 1996 F-Body:

The Hypertech is not that great, handy for changing the rev limiter, speed limiter, gear ratio, etc. The "power tuning" is useless. Other problem with buying a used one - if the original owner did not return his PCM to the stock tune, the Hypertech is useless and will not work on another vehicle. There is a way around it, but at a small cost.
