How to re-program A4 for an M6 conversion ???

I'm really thinking about swapping out to a 6 spd and while going down the list of things I will be needing I thought about the programming. Will I just be able to find an M6 file that closely resemble my setup and copy it over to my PCM file or is there a trick to it??? I've been searching for any "How-Tos" on this subject w/ no luck so I'm hoping someone that has already done this chime in.

Thanks.

There isn't any tricks to it at all. Just go into your PCM Switch table and disable the A4 transmission diagnostics. If you like I can send you a M6 BIN that you can look at.

Can you? That'll be great if I can take a look at it. Now, once I disable it can I just copy the m6 bin to my PCM??? I'm still alittle lost at this LT1 edit thing.

thanks.
