How the Hell do i read this Freescan data

what does everybody scan with?...or if u use freescan how do i read this jargen..how can i read this info in colums or a graph? theres only 3 buttons...interact..start.and save to...? so i tell it to save to C: then i click interact and start and everything looks great but i cant read a computer while im driving...then i get this bull**** jargen when i try and look at what i saved??? just lines after lines of the same jargen..what program do i need to read this or whats going wrong ...help i want to log a good file at the track tomarrow but dont know how this scanning is read or if im doing it right...?

There are 2 logging functions in freescan. There is an option to log the ecm, which logs what is coming out of the ecm, this will look like garbage. What you want is log cvs, which is on the bottom left of the first page in Freescan. That will create a cvs log file of the translated (readable) ecm readings. A cvs file is simply a comma delimited text file so you will be able to veiw it in excel or other spreadsheet apps.
