How can I log wideband along with regular engine parameters?

I need to log my wideband a/f ratio with RPM, TPS, etc etc. Wideband is useless without looking at it side by side with everything else.

I have:
-laptop
-zeitronix zt-2
-tunercat
-freescan

How can I make it happen?

it appears your wideband controller has the capability of logging rpm, TPS, and a user selectable 0-5V signal. I suggest you hook that to MAP. freescan won't work on your car, it's for OBD1.

I'm sorry I took all my mods out of my sig. I have an OBDI computer. Right now I only hooked up the wideband but I guess I can hook up the tach wire too. I just would rather do it like I have it on my eclipse it's so much nicer. I run my eclipse in open loop only, plumb my LC-1 signal into the stock o2 sensor wiring, and log wideband along with all other normal parameters through my car's ECU. Seeing wideband in a log next to TPS, timing, etc. gives you a better overall picture.

In that case you can send your wideband signal to your ecu through the a/c pressure sensor and log it with freescan. you just config your wideband to send 0-5 v out and feed it to the connector from the a/c pressure switch. Here is a link that may help you.

It is for datamaster not freescan but the concept is the same.

AEM WB worked for me

I was able to wire my WB using serial port on my lap-top, I have AEM brand, went to their web page and found the information to wire it up, works good on my car, but I still have OBDII and use scanXL Elmscan. don't know if your data reader will allow a aux device or not but scanXL Elmscan will and records right with everything else.

Thanks for the information. Looks like datamaster is my only choice since freescan doesn't log the a/c pressure sensor. Also my zeitronix is the older version which I am pretty sure does not have the linear output option. I should have bought the lc-1 from the getgo but I thought the LCD display in the car was cute. I supposed I could take the LC-1 off my eclipse but I'd rather not do that since my eclipse needs it more.

Is there an equation I can use for the Bosch LSU wideband o2 sensor that comes on the zeitronix kit? They have a table of voltage vs. afr on this pdf:

http://www.zeitronix.com/installatio...structions.pdf

It goes from (0.15v, 9.7:1 AFR) to (3.27v, 21.1:1 AFR). I plugged that into excel and tried to get an equation but it doesn't fit anything nicely even when I try to isolate just a segment of the curve it can still be off by as much as .3 or .4 AFR units when the r^2 is above 99%. I wonder how that sensor is even useable by a factory vehicle unless it's only used as a narrowband???

Probably has nothing to do with the sensor, it's the same one innovate uses. Your unit does not have the 0-5 volt linear output on it?
