Here's a dumb question
95 Z28 LT1 engine.
I reprogrammed the fans to come on at 180 (fan 1) and 190 (fan 2)
I had the car idling and watching the temp with Datamaster. The dash gage got up to over half way and the temp on the Datamaster screen showed over 200 and the fans didn't come on. I then lowered the fan 1 to come on at 170 with a hyst of 3. When I flashed that file the fans started up. They dropped the temp down to around 170 but I know they would never shut off because the car won't drop that far running anyway.(160 T/S) Why wouldn't the fans come on at 180 ? This should be a no brainer.
