Help with lt1 edit

I have an oppurtunity to buy a 1996 fbody obd2 setup including the locked pcm and cables. The guy who is selling it doesn't know much about it (came with recently purchased vehicle) and doesn't have the software. How can I get the software without having to purchase anything since the previous owner already paid?

Re: Help with lt1 edit

Update, I contacted the orginal owner of the setup and he emailed me an operator's manual and a lt1.bin file. Is this somehow used for the setup?

Re: Help with lt1 edit

I thought that lt1 edit used .lt1 files and tunercat used .bin files. This is lt1 edit.

If you're using LT1 edit, here's a good tutorial about the parameters and their meanings...
