General Questions - FAST XFI
General Questions - FAST XFI
-A stock style VSS... Is the signal "Discrete" or "Inductive"? Got it on another forum... Inductive for those that may wonder
-Are any of you FAST users using a knock sensor? If so how well does it work with non-stock displacement, roller rockers, and longtube headers? Furthermore, is it even worth while if running 100 octane unleaded and a small wiff of methanol to cool things down?
-Since, I'm using only one WB meter... Does anyone have a preference as to whether the sensor should be mounted in the Y-pipe after the merge (to get an average of the entire motors A/F ratio), or in a header collector (getting an average from only one side of the motor?
Will probably have more questions once I get to start this thing up again.
Thanks in advance.

One more I just thought of... The FAST XFI basically only gets a crank signal from the opti-spark. Anyone know if its possible to use one of MSD's cam sync pickups that clamp onto the #1 spark plug wire? Just saw it in one of their catalogs for the first time. And it appears to be of the same type that dyno's use.
