gen VII DFI

I have a leann spot in my VE table between 4-5k rpm that I cant adjust out. It runs about 12:1 through 4k then 17:1 till 5k (breaking up bad) and back to 12:1 till shift. I've raised the value in the ve table so much and still nothing. that Are there any other table that I need to be looking at? Also, if unburnt fuel is read as a lean condition....could it be too rich in the VE table? That just doesnt sound right, does it?

Are you using a wideband? If so are you allowing closed loop correction at WOT? If so i'd first check your positive and negative O2 sensor feedback limits. Maybe some of the cells between 4-5K are messed up. Also, and I'm sure this is a long shot, but are you using the PE function? If it is enabled and you don't realize it the AF table could be incorrect as well.

Bring up your main screen, select "configuration" go down to "fuel" (you can also hit Ctrl-U). PE is Power Enrichment Mode I believe it is available only if you have Gen 7 DFI version 4.0 or higher. From there you can set up an alternate A/F table and a threshold based on throttle position and RPM. If by chance this is enabled the A/F ratio in the table could be set incorrectly. Like I mentioned this is a long shot but the potential is there.

Thanks!
