12 to 16 pin adaptor work w/ tunercats??

will the diagram on shoebox's site work for tuning or just scanning?i have a 16 pin for my 95 and need to tune a buddies 94.

You can always do a read before tuning (I always do), just to be sure it communicates ok. I would be real careful that nothing comes apart during the tuning process.

ok great, i wasnt sure because it said for scanners on your website.ill prob just run freescan or datamaster to make sure it links up ok first.

That's still scanning. Do a PCM read first with your programming software, is what I meant.
