Free Scan Log Question???

I just got done with my first log, I got my cable from ALDLcable.com and it came with a disc with some samples of software.

I installed freescan just to play with it, I logged about 10 min. on a run down to the gas station. Everything seemed okay when I started the run, I gave the file a name and saved it.

Well, now I'm back and I wanted to review the data...when I go to retrieve the file it opens up in notepad, the log was saved as a .txt , how do I convert this info. into a graph or atleast something I can more understand and use???

This may be a dumb question, I've done some searches, but I'm completely stumped I hope I'm just overlooking something simple.

Thanks,
Brandon

Freescan outputs my log files into Excel format and I open them there and they look fine. Try opening with it.

Yea, just an update...the answer was just staring right at me I was saving the files under diagnostic logging which in turn saves them as .txt files.

I finally noticed the other option right below it CSV logging and then exported the saved file to Excel and it worked perfectly.

But thanks for repsonding...now time to get to the track and actually be able to keep an eye on things.
