Thumbs down First run on open loop 13.3@98, 9 degrees retard!

I have got to figure out why I'm getting 9 degrees of retard all the way down the track. I do have an exhaust leak, but would that cause 2-3 degrees retard at idle and if cruising at 65 mph and I put it half way to the floor I see as much as 11 degrees of retard. If I'm cruising at any speed and I let off the gas the retard will go 0.0.
I'm really at a loss here. The exhaust leak is on the SLP y-pipe. Its as if I'm running on 7 cylinders. I don't see the car hitching like a bad wire. Its just retarding so bad the car just won't get out of its own way at WOT. Anyone got ideas for me to check or look at.
Fred

I know you may consider this a bandaid but I would put a reisitor in place of a knock sensor and see what that does. Just my .02 Later Clint

Spray some carb cleaner on the exhaust leak to see if the knock goes away (on a fairly cold engine but out of open loop of course). If its not that then it could be just a bad knock sensor.
