Fast track performance harness?
Fast track performance harness?
Ok i have been trying to get ahold of Mac at fast track for 2 days email and phone calls. i need some info fast and accurate.
i just want to know what the fast harness is. does it completely replace the harness i got from FAST? does it splice in just to the nessasary sensors to run the tranny and guages? what are the connections, will i have to cut up the new FAST harness or will there be simple plug in connections to the FAST harness? does anyone know what the fast track harness costs? the website is pretty hard to follow, i cannot find anything about a FAST harness in there for a LT1 Camaro. please if anyone can help me with this i need it i want to get this car up and running with this turbo ASAP and this is my last big problem.
Thank you guys so much!

ok still now word from Mac but i have been doing some thinking. what sensors would the factory computer need signal from in order to continue to operate the tranny and gauges? assuming i find these sensors, would i be able to splice into the FAST harness with the PCM harness that used to go to that sensor? if any of those sensors is controled by the PCM in some way, and both the FAST and PCM were hooked to it, which would control it? would the computers fight for control and cause a problem or will one overrun the other?
i figure i can just build my own harness by getting the nessasary sensors hooked to keep the tranny and gauges, and cutting the rest of the factory harness out.
