I hope someone can help. I just finished installing a 94 LT1 in my 69 Camaro. I used tunercat to turn off the VATS system so I don't think it's that. But, what is happening is the engine will start, run for about 5-10 secs and then shut off. I so far have checked fuel pressure and that seems fine. Also, I have not gotten any fault codes. Any suggestions on where to start? Also, when it is running I can increase speed and it doesn't seem to be cutting out. Also, I jumped the fuel pump to keep it running, but it didn't change anything.

After a little more testing, it appears that the injectors are being turned off. If I spary starting fluid in the intake, I can keep it running. This sounds like a VATS thing but I've already turned it off. Any ideas?

 

Well, after a day off reading other threads, testing just about every sensor/relay in the car, I got it to work. I reprogrammed the 94 Vette PCM with a 94 F body .bin and the car started and is running pretty well. Only thing I can figure is that the programming on the Vette pcm needed the CCM and the F body doesn't? Any one have any insight on this? Oh well, now the fun part of tunning.

Damn, I was gonna say coil

Serioulsly, mine was running for 3-5 secs then cutting out. Turned out, the coil had somehow weakened over the 4 month storage.

She's good to go
