DTC Code 36 popped up..

I was out driving my new 95 to check the o2's and KR on my scanmaster. I ran it once and the o2's looked good at around 900 the entire time and and KR stayed at 0.0. This was on a spirited run from about 0-60, then I parked my car and when I came back and started my car up the o2's started at 500 and the gradually went to 004-010. Then I went and floored it again and ran it up to about 60 again and the o2's were acting strange and the KR was much higher at around 10.0 and then a DTC code 36 popped up. I know that this is a high resolution and/or muliple low resolution misses. My question is what could this be and what could cause it?

Thanks for any help.

It can be an open, a short to voltage, a short to ground, or a defective sensor in the distributor. Clear it and hope it doesn't come back. If so, it may be necessary to replace the opti.

Is there any way that you can tell which one it is?

Well, I'm feeling lazy not wanting to type much so here is the steps from the manual . And use this diagram for reference. You have to register to view the pic. Copy it to your computer and print it. I don't have a scanner but I do have a good camera so the pic is very high res and readable.
