dtc code

i scanned my car and it came up with a dtc 34 map sensor low
the car still runs fine so how serious is this
how do i fix it

What year/engine/mods? Have you tried clearing the code to see how long it takes for it to come back?

MAP sensor is critical to ignition timing and long term fuel corrections. If you have a speed-density car, its even more critical, since it provides info for the fuel calcualtion.

94 lt1 m6 i have a k&n filter and and flowmaster all other mods are awaiting the build
as far as reset ive tried that and its there everytime i start my car cold and then goes away after 15 minutes then it pops back on at random when accelerating at normal speed stays there for 2-3 min and goes away agian till later
