ok, i just installed a remote start on my 95z. it will only work if the key is inserted into the ignition hole. so obvisously its my vats. i used lt1edit and under the function enable drop down menu, i went to "vehicle anti-theft = 4" and turn that from "on" to "off"

but this still didn't work. Vats is still active. is there something else im suppose to do in the pcm?

There starter kill function is still enabled, the fuel cut off is what you disabled in the PCM. Shoebox's site has a write up on how to wire in a resistor for the VATs to disable it.
