Data Logs/Few Questions
I have a couple questions about a couple logs I've taken on my car. I just recently got the Ease Diagnostics OBD-II scan tool for the SS. I'm still learning about engine operation/adjustment so excuse my inexperience. I also have the "Corvette Fuel Injection" book that I have read through most of already so I have a good idea what's going on, it just hasn't become second nature yet.
I wanted to know if someone would look at my log(s) and see if they notice anything out of the ordinary. I currently have a SES light on, the codes are 1441 "EVAP system open purge flow", P0140 "O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected Bank 1 Sensor 2", and P0160 "O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected Bank 2 Sensor 2". I switched the EVAP purge valve with another, but the light still came back on.
Recently I had a head gasket go bad, so during the re-assembly I put a pair of Pacesetter headers on minus the catalytic converters and rear O2's. I have yet to get O2 simulators or program them out (hopefully get the software early next spring). I still have the EGR and AIR (AIR no use) installed. I also had the heads checked/decked and valve job done. During disassembly/assembly I noticed the rubber PCV elbow was bad. I have a long 12" piece or so on now for a quick fix but have the part on order from GMPartsDirect.com. All of the hoses in series with the purge valve look decent but maybe I'm thinking I should just go ahead and replace them.
Although this problem doesn't appear too major, the SS seems to run rich to me. Even before the header install I could smell a small amount of gas in the exhaust, which is more evident now. I had the car dyno'd last October and the air fuel ratio sat around 12.2-12.3 during the pull, even though I know the enrichment mode runs the engine a little bit rich. I've noticed when I run 94 octane over 93 octane, the car seems to run better and there is less of a gas smell from the exhaust, though I have yet to run 94 since the header install. I'd guess with the small increase in compression, 94 would be even more beneficial now.
Concerning my logs, the big things that stick out at me is the long term fuel trims for bank 1 vs. bank 2. I'm still learning the software so let me know if I should also be recording something else along with the other parameters. My only other question is are the rear O2's primarily for catalytic converter operation and not for air/fuel adjustment. I do see there are fuel trims for the rear O2's though so I'm not sure on that.
Logs: 4 30 minute runs to and from work
Dyno graph, single run.
Thanks for any help.
