Couple questions regarding MAF
Couple questions regarding MAF
I have another thread in the LT1 area, but some of my questions belong in here. To keep people up to date, here is the other thread
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=481831
My main questions are about the MAF, basically..
1. What if the voltage on the pink wire is not quite 12 volts
2. In open loop, before the o2 sensors and such are taken into consideration, is the MAF being used yet.
3. Anything else that could be causing these symptoms?
Also, today on the drive home, the car cut off and then came back on. Im not sure why it did that. It did it a few times when the MAF was plugged in, but hadn't done it all day yesterday(maf was unplugged), so I figured it was related to the MAF. So now Im not sure what that is caused by.

1. I'm not an electrical guy, so I can't answer this one.
2. Yes, the MAF in both open and closed loop.
Can you get Datamaster or Freescan to link up to make a log? I'd like to see what your O2's are doing in closed loop. I think with all the sensors hooked back up and a log, it would be apparent what the problem is. As of right now, you are running the car in speed density mode.
Does this mean that you are trying to run rear O2's with an OBDI PCM? If so, how are you doing that?

I can't get anything to link up at the moment until I get my laptop to agree with me.
